These Terms of Service govern your use of Competo, an iOS app for Apple Watch group fitness competitions. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Competo, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

  • Competo is not intended for children under 13.
  • You are responsible for complying with local laws when using the app.

Account and Access

  • You are responsible for your account and device security.
  • Provide accurate information when creating or updating an account.

Subscriptions and Payments

If Competo offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. Trials, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.

  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
  • Pricing, refunds, and billing are controlled by Apple.

Health and Fitness Disclaimer

Competo is not medical advice. Consult a professional before starting a new fitness program. Use the app at your own risk and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.

User Content and Group Participation

  • Be respectful when participating in groups and competitions.
  • Do not post or share harassing, hateful, or illegal content.
  • We may remove content or users who violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

  • No reverse engineering or unauthorized access attempts.
  • No scraping, disruption, or abuse of the service.
  • No cheating or manipulation of leaderboards.

Intellectual Property

The app, software, and branding are owned by Competo or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Third-Party Services

Competo may integrate with Apple Health, Apple Fitness, or Apple Watch features. We are not affiliated with Apple. Third-party services are governed by their own terms.

Privacy

Your use of Competo is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Competo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Competo after updates means you accept the revised terms.
